The 8mm thick Zoom Air bag, visible through the outsole, offered an exhilarating toe-off experience that allowed athletes to maintain their speed even on challenging terrains. The midsole design showcased Nike’s forward-thinking approach. Instead of relying on conventional EVA foam, the engineers crafted a dual-density foam system, featuring a firmer carrier foam that encased the Zoom Air unit.

Furthermore, the shoe’s rock plate was intentionally designed to be thin and flexible, offering protection from sharp objects without compromising the ground feel.
